Xi Phi Epsilon is powered by specialty units that allow brothers to grow in their gifts and impact the brotherhood in unique ways.”

Word Up Unit – Ministers and teachers of the Word.
Man Up Unit – Brothers with strong mentorship and counseling skills.
Barak Unit – Creative and resourceful brothers in media, marketing, and design.

"Creative brothers warring in excellence. Every vision needs visuals."

Purpose:

To mobilize and empower brothers with creative and technical gifts to support the fraternity’s vision through design, media, branding, and promotional resources.

Why “Barak”?

Barak was a warrior who moved when the word of the Lord came through Deborah (Judges 4). This unit is for those who help execute the vision, carry the weight of clarity, and bring structure and strength to what’s spoken.

Vision Statement:

To unify and uplift the creative talents within the brotherhood for the glory of God and the excellence of Xi Phi Epsilon’s public voice.

Core Responsibilities:

Flyer design for events, units, and special campaigns
Paraphernalia design (shirts, graphics, merchandise)
Social media content creation (posts, reels, animations)
Brand consistency and creative consulting for chapters
Multimedia support (video editing, photo coverage, visual storytelling)
Event visuals (projector slides, presentations, backdrops)

Group Structure:

Creative Director (Lead Designer/Editor)
MPR Coordinator (Liaison with National MPR/Chapters)
Design Squad (Graphic & Apparel Designers)
Media Team (Photographers, Videographers, Editors)
Content Writers (Captions, Announcements, Scripts)

Membership Criteria:

Passion for creativity, media, or visual communication
Commitment to fraternity excellence and branding
Willingness to serve with a team and meet deadlines
No need for perfection just a heart to contribute

“Ministers sharpening ministers, rightly dividing the Word and living it out.”

Purpose:

To cultivate a brotherhood of ministers and minister-in-training who are committed to sound doctrine, spiritual growth, and biblical leadership within Xi Phi Epsilon and beyond.

Vision Statement:

To be a Christ-centered unit of ministers who boldly proclaim, teach, and live the Word of God with integrity, unity, and spiritual authority.

Key Scripture:

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

2 Timothy 2:15

Core Objectives:

Equip brothers in the accurate study and teaching of the Word.
Sharpen each other through fellowship, accountability, and practice.
Develop preaching, teaching, and pastoral skills through peer feedback and spiritual mentorship.
Serve the fraternity and local churches through Word-based ministry.
Uphold doctrinal integrity and spiritual humility in every setting.

Structure:

Frequency: Biweekly small group sessions
Format:
- Devotion or Word Breakdown (10–15 mins)
- Group Study of a Passage/Doctrine (25 mins)
- Application Challenge or Minister’s Q&A (15 mins)
- Prayer & Accountability Check-ins (5 mins)

Rotating Leadership: Each member leads a session on a schedule to build confidence and gifting.

Membership Criteria:

Must be a brother in good standing with Xi Phi Epsilon.
Must feel called to ministry (preaching, teaching, or pastoral work).
Open to both licensed/ordained ministers and those discerning their call.

Roles:

Facilitator: Oversees schedule and study topics
Chaplain Liaison: Connects the unit to fraternity-wide spiritual life
Scripture Curator: Prepares passage lists or themes for study
Prayer Lead : Opens and closes with prayer, manages prayer requests
